Getting NashTrashed!

Now don't turn all Polly Prudent on me and think I'm being a not-so-classy lady by talking about my weekend's antics...I'm talking about the one, the only NashTrashTour - also known as the best way to guarantee laughter for a solid 90 minutes on a Saturday morning! Led by these two ladies, the Jugg Sisters (Brenda and Sherry) give you a more, um, irreverent background on some of Nashville's stars by taking you around town on their Big Pink Bus. Let me just tell you, they know how to keep a bus full of folks who have traveled from near and far nearly in tears! Poor Mr. T dropped me off and went to park the car (because we were running late -shocker) and got quite embarrassed when he stepped on the bus sandwiched between these two, who proceeded to comment on his "delectable derrier." He turned about 10 shades of red.

I'd heard about the tour ever since I moved to Nashville, but it was always sold out so far in advance I could never go. I booked the tour back in March when I got to meet the sisters in person. Now that I've participated, I can definitely see why it was voted as the #1 attraction in Nashville on trusty ole Trip Advisor! (Seriously, click the link to see for yourself!)

Paying tribute to the other man in my life during our pit stop at the Country Music Hall of Fame. When encouraged to hop inside and buy a beverage to bring back on the bus, it took all of two minutes for us to decide, eh, what the hey. So there we were, drinking two cold beers at 11 in the morning. What rednecks we can be. A classic case of "when in Rome," I suppose...

  1. Funny story...this tour was supposed to be our "after busy season outing" paid by my firm in Nashville right before I left. They ended up changing it to a Sounds Baseball game. Bummer.

  2. OH! I'm totally putting it on my list for my next trip to Nashville! Gosh I love that city!

And what's wrong with beer before breakfast? I mean, I'm just sayin, that's what brunch is all about, is it not?? :)

  4. I tried getting tickets when I was there in April w. no luck. Good to know it's worth it for the next time we're in Nashville.
